Servo Label Head

The label applicator for the PRO-516 is powered by a servo-driven motor, which monitors and provides an instant feedback signal for fast and consistent label placement. The servo drive receives a command, amplifies the signal, and transmits electric current to the label head so that all movement is precise and efficient.

Vertical Trunnion System

The PRO-516 features a Vertical Trunnion System allowing your labels to be wrapped around cylindrical products at high rates of speed. The vertical rollers keep the product consistent and stable which stops them from tipping or shifting during the labeling process. This prevents any kind of label skewing so your products look their very best every time.

Dual 20" Unwind with Splicing Station

In order to help eliminate downtime due to roll changes, the PRO-516 features a Dual 20" Unwind with Splicing Station. This feature provides a continuous supply of labels to your applicator machine by allowing you to put two rolls of labels on the 20″ supply reels.

Screw Feed Indexing System

The PRO-516 standard machine comes with a screw feed indexing system. This design enables the machine to precisely control the indexing and spacing of each product. Precise indexing equates to higher throughput and accuracy by feeding a product to the label head immediately once it's ready for its next label cycle.

And, with the manual position setting, your labels are placed accurately on the product, each and every time.
With label heads that tilt on a 12-degree x-y axis, the PRO-515 even works well for tapered or shaped products.
Future upgrades are simple. Thanks to the PRO-515’s thermal or hot foil printer controls, you can easily incorporate a printer if the need should arise. This integrated feature lets printers work in sync with the labeler to ensure accurate code placement. The result? Easy label customization you can turn on or off.
Depending on your needs, this machine can be used for in-line automatic or semi-automatic applications.

Efficiency

The auto label-set feature confirms label sensitivity by detecting the separation between each label. With one push of a button, labeling is automatically set up – and positioned correctly.
The missing label-detect feature locates missing labels on the roll stock, and instantly shuts the machine down if one is found. This preventative feature ensures each product is labeled appropriately.
